Being a college student is a daunting task for many. This also poses a difficulty in expanding one’s social circle particularly meeting women. Although there may be very limited time you can devote to this endeavour, there are simple yet effective ways of picking up women in your college. You just have to know where you have to be and when.
The cafeteria is a collegiate man’s best friend when it comes to picking up women. You are sure to run into hundreds of girls at least three times a day. Breakfast is perhaps the most skipped meal around college cafeterias but this may also be a great time to start somebody’s day having to share a meal with. Although conversations may be brief during this time, you get a chance to introduce yourself and that is a pretty good start in laying down the groundwork for when you ask her out for real.
There bound to be coffee cart or kiosk in the corners of your campus and this can be a good chance to meet caffeine hawkers. You can ask one out to get a cup of coffee together sometime, perhaps at the very same coffee kiosk or a different place with real chairs and the possibility of dessert. Very casual but very efficient.
Participate in as many school activities as your schedule would allow. Do volunteer work that may put you in a partnership with a nice girl. Or perhaps even promote student involvement in campus matters. This will give you an excuse to stand in corners handing out flyers or knocking on dorm rooms asking for a signature in support of a student body petition.
If you happen to have even the slightest journalistic ability, try out for your school publication. You can meet great female staffers whom you are guaranteed to see a few days every week, and the same time hone your writing skills. Odds are, you will succeed in one task or the other.
Being saddled with papers, and exams, and reports should not drive you to a life of seclusion. The key is to manage your time efficiently and be goal oriented. This works with either picking up women in your college or excelling in your school work.

Flower girl fashion follows the same trends you see in wedding dress fashion. As wedding dresses become more simple so do flower girl dresses and at the same time, when wedding dress fashion become more extravagant you’ll find the same thing happening with flower girl fashion. Having said that changes in flower girl fashion is rarely as dramatic as that in wedding gowns and you’ll find that they’ve always had a sweet little girl feel about them and are rarely as dramatic as the brides dress. Just think of the bride’s poofy sleeves of the 1980’s! Though the flower girls had pleated shoulder they were never nearly as extreme as that of the bride.
The most important thing to remember with flower girl fashion is to make sure that your flower girl is comfortable and at the same time complimenting the theme of the day – including color and mood. If you’re traditional she should be to… and if you’re simple and modern, she should be too!

Flower Girl Dresses
There are two really big things you’ll notice in designer style flower girl dresses .
1.The tuft skirt…which I think will be going out in the next year or two
2.The colored sash, which I think will stay around for awhile since it’s such a great way to make the flower girl dress match the wedding theme.
Baskets
In 1980 when I was a flower girl I carried a wicker basket with dried flowers, hardly en mode for a wedding today – unless of course you’re going for a retro 80’s feel. Instead a simple silk basket filled with either frozen or dried rose petals is more suitable for today’s modern flower girl.
Color
Traditionally, when picking the flower girl dress the color AND fabric was usually expected to complement the bride’s dress – either white, cream or champagne and silk or satin. Extra accessories like the sash, flowers, and basket matched the bridesmaids. Today it’s just as common for the flower girl to wear the same color and fabric dress as the bridesmaid. Both work really well and both look great. However, it’s often easier to find dresses in white or pink rather than the plethora of colors available in bridemaids dresses.
Hair Accessories
Cute little hair accessories have always been a big thing for flower girls, but, like everything else the look changes over time. Today, the headpiece is noticeably smaller and more “flower child” inspired that in years past. You’ll also find that the dreaded baby’s breath which adorned my hair when I was flower girl is no longer used in hair design or accessories.
Flower Girl Shoes
Today flower girl shoes are comfortable and cute. With everything from the fabric ballerina slipper to the simple satin Mary Jane shoe, there’s a style for every child.
Cost
You can get wonderful flower girl dresses at any price. The only thing to make sure of it to make sure you get a comfortable, wrinkle free, and breathable fabric. An uncomfortable flower is the last thing you want on your special day! Cheap laces are itchy and some fake satins don’t breath and are very sticky and uncomfortable! If cost is an issue don’t get a flower girl dress, just get a pretty little dress that can be dressed up with adorable tights. You’d be surprised what you can find. Ebay is also a great place to find great dresses at really wonderful prices!
Style
Just make sure your young flower girl looks like a little girl. There’s nothing worse than a 6 year old looking like a mom. Make sure the hairstyle and dress style is age appropriate.
Make Sure the Flower Girl is Happy
If she is at least 4 years old, it’s likely that she’s mature enough to go to at least one store with you. If this is possible, it’s very much recommended so that you can get a sense of what she likes and also introduce her to what it means to be a flower girl. When I was a flower girl once I was so terrified and didn’t even know it was happening until a day or two before and I didn’t even know what it meant other than the fact that tons of people would be staring at me! Even at that young age and explanation of what’s happening is important while being comfortable and feeling pretty. Even though I wasn’t normally a vain child it was a big day for me and like adults a child needs to feel good.

How To Pick Up More Women Than You Can Handle

This is an awesome technique for nightclubs, bars and some types of parties – any situation where a lot of people are present who don’t know each other already.
Often in this situation the average guy feels a little inadequate. There may be a lot of guys there who are richer, better built and better looking. The great news is that the other guys in the room don’t matter one little bit. With this technique you can still take your choice and leave with one of the most gorgeous girls in the place.
This technique will give you social value, which for most women is more important than looks or money when they first meet a man. They want someone who is confident and comfortable in a group, a guy they would be happy to introduce to their friends because he’s going to get along with them. They want someone that everybody likes – not the local clown, but someone who is admired, too.
Make Your Entrance
You’re going to create a buzz here, and it starts the moment you walk in. Make your entry like a celebrity. Walk in, stop and scan the room – not as if you are checking out the talent, but as if you are looking for your best friend. If you can, arrange for a few friends to come over while you are doing this and have them act like you’ve just made their night by arriving. Shake their hands, look happy and confident and let yourself be the center of attention in the group.
This is sneaky but it works real well – and your friends can take a turn at being the ‘celebrity’ on a different night, if they want.
Smile And Introduce Yourself
Make a tour of the room and if you see anybody smiling at you, make eye contact and give them a smile right back. Then introduce yourself. It doesn’t matter if it’s a guy or a girl, although you can spend longer with the girls. Shake hands to make physical contact. If a girl says something in your ear, put your arm around her in a friendly way while she is speaking.
Focus especially on girls who are there with a girlfriend or in a group of girls. Let them introduce you to their friends. Try to keep a hold of one or two names from each group – this is easier if you say the name after you have been introduced. Keep smiling, but don’t start with your pickup lines yet.
Introduce Others
By this time, a lot of the people in the club will be watching you and wondering who you are. It now becomes very easy to meet more and more girls. As soon as they make eye contact you can go over. Then, introduce that girl and her friends to another group of girls that you just met. This allows you to move from group to group, show off your networking skills and flirt with a lot of girls on the way.
Everybody’s Talking
Now the girls are all talking to each other, and guess who a lot of them are talking about? Yes, you. When you come back to a group that just introduced, you will find they are all wanting your attention. Now you can spend a little longer with each group and start to pick out the girls you want to focus on.
At the same time, it’s payback time for those good friends who mobbed you when you came in – you can show you’re a generous guy by introducing them to one of the groups of girls. In fact, you need to. Because guess what, you just picked up more women than you can handle …
