How should I talk girl in my class that doesn’t sit close to me? What are some things I can say?

should I just ask how she did on her test?
I haven’t talk to her much @ all. She doesn’t sit close to me and I’m not going to all of a sudden switch seats because a week has already gone by. She talked to me first today. She just asked me what exercise I was on. I had spoken to her before that today but yeah.
I mean I had spoken to her before today but she talked to me FIRST today
She’s latina or middle eastern…..i’m not sure but she’s definitely americanized…
I had asked where she was from (in the very starting of the semester)
, I had asked about class things
ok if you catch her looking just smile, try to talk to her out of class and non school topics unless its like sports or something, you need to make a deeper connection than just school related subjects, dont be afraid to talk just be yourself its ok to mess up and be silly if thats you then just be you

So I’m 16 and never had a gf and pretty hopeless at speaking to girls. I’m going to college in september (yaaaaaaaaaay) and all this week we have to go in to check the place out and see what our classes will be like and lo and behold, there are 100’s of beautiful girls from other schools.But I dont know them so I cant say hi, they have their friends from their old school and I have mine from my old school. Thing is in my drama class and politics there are so many pretty girls who like drama or politics just like me. I feel such a coward for ignoring them, how can I say hi?
Just walk up to them and ask what interests them about drama and politics!
I would love a guy who seems interested in my interests and it looks really intelligent.
When the conversation proceeds, ask about their previous schools etc.
Don’t start about where they live because that might freighten them.
