So I’m having a little trouble with talking to this senior in high school (I’m a sophomore btw). I was wondering on how can I start talking to him. My friends told me that I confront him, but I’m too shy to do so. Any suggestions? I’ve been told to bump into him in the hallway, ask his friends, or just go straight up to him and tell him. I want to at least talk to him since he’s going away to college.
This is relatively simple but will only work if he is attracted to you.
First you have to remember to smile whenever he looks in your direction. If he makes eye contact try and maintain eye contact and smile back. Men are reluctant to approach women who are not smiling.
If he makes eye contact with you and you smile back without averting your eyes or blushing the next step is to wave at him. He will wonder why you waved at him and he may approach you to ask why.
If he doesn’t approach you to ask why he will either assume you like him and think about talking to you another time or ignore you because he’s not interested. Don’t assume he’s not interested just because he didn’t respond immediately.
You can try this again and not feel silly because the worst that can happen is he will think "she’s that girl that waves at me sometimes… football, schools boring, video games, ect. In other words if he is seriously just not interested he won’t think about it much and focus on more interesting things.
If this doesn’t work you can ask for his help doing something. Just look for something to do that seems difficult for a person to do by themselves and ask him to help you. This requires a little imagination but smart women often do this.
while he’s helping, you can start a friendly conversation. When he is finished helping, you have to thank him with a complement. Something like "I thought a strong guy like you could help me with this or I just knew you would be smart enough to help me." He will probably be shocked when you say this because not many men are used to receiving complements without expecting them but he will like it and it will make him start thinking about getting to know you.
If things go really well and you think he is enjoying talking to you, touch his arm in a friendly way and he will know that you like him and he will think about asking you out.
You don’t need to corner a guy and start talking to him like your friends suggest unless you feel comfortable doing this. Asking his friends isn’t usually a good idea unless you already know them.
Don’t be afraid of doing little things to get his attention. Confident girls often just begin talking to the guy to get his attention but this doesn’t always work because some guys feel intimidated when a girl comes on too strong. Shy girls can be very successful getting guys attention by being persistent and doing a lot of little things that keep reminding him to take notice.

I like the the bands Girl talk and The Bran Flakes. What kind of equipment would you need? And what software would you need to use?
a program to host all of your sounds and to compile the track such as FL Studio. A library of real sampled instruments (it seems like girl talk uses lots of brass instruments/horns). For that you can try Native Instrument’s.
For hardware, just a MIDI keyboard, and a USB to MIDI cable to hook it up to your computer.
