how to talk to this kinda girl?

i am in 12th grade in highschool and i am starting to talk to girls(be nice). there is this girl that sits behind me, the only thing i said to her so far is can i borrow your erasier, she did lol. she looks a little shy herself because when i asked for the erasier she looked kind of scared, so i don’t think i should say anything about her appearance yet. what should i do please give me alot of choices. i am scared but its more that i don’t know what to say.
well every girl likes good guys not jerks and all girls like complements if you want to start a relationship or a friendship you can say things like this that will make her more comftorble around you:
-hey how was you day
- do you like this band?
- whats new?
ect.
girls like funny guys to …make some jokes
or even play it cool like this
tell her "hey so i have this problem… theres this girl and shes pretty cool..and i guess you can say im a little shy.. but i want to get to know her better..but not move fast..just start off as friends…what should i do?" chances are she’ll say ask her to hang out or try talking to her or something..then you an be like well shes really nice since she lent me her eracer lmao and just go with the flow

How do you approach a complete stranger and talk to her without scaring the crap out of her? And at the end of the conversation try to ask her out for coffee or something?
Talk about the weather or if she’s standing around doing nothing, ask her and be like "I thought my day was boring, but at least I always have something to do!" Smile when you say this so she knows you’re joking. She’ll probably be like "sigh, I know." You:"How about I fix that by taking you out to coffee?" Bam!

I hav been talking to this girl for a few weeks now and i really like her. We are going to putt putt later this week and i was planning on asking her out there. At what point of the night should i do it? and what should i say?
Look deep into her eyes for a sec, but not too long like creeper status but long enough for her to wonder what’s going through your head, give her a complement then ask her to be your better half
