Make him a scrapbook of your "special moments and times". You could put a picture of your first date. I really like the Scrap Book idea — if not, why not just spend the whole day together.. Begin with a late breakfast or brunch at a restaurant. Spend the day doing the things you love to do together.. i.e. movies, whatever.. Take pictures of the day and turn that into a scrapbook that grows every year…. Just do a 2-4 pages on the day.. Show it to him and save the Scrapbook for next year and do the same thing.. Over the years, your Anniversary Scrapbook will grow..
